Emotional and Mental Health Support Volunteers Needed Amid Charlotte Protests

Dear Community,

During this time of  immense grief we collectively mourn the loss of George Floyd. Unfortunately this is not the first time we as healers are called upon to provide emotional and mental health support to those impacted by  similar tragedies.  In 2016, when Keith Lamont Scott was killed, over 100 clinicians and healers responded to a call to action just like this and we organized as the CLT Uprising Emotional Response Team.  As a community we were able to coordinate    on demand emotional and mental health support for the greater Charlotte area.  As we navigate the complexities of this moment together our collective expertise and wisdom as healers is requested once again.  Registering using this form does not obligate you to participate but it allows us to build upon the foundation we laid in 2016 as we strategize how to best support our community right now.  If you are able to volunteer your time and wisdom please click HERE to access the form.
