Outpatient Therapist
Camari Claiborne-Scott is a psychotherapist who received her Master of Social Work degree at Winthrop University and Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from North Carolina A&T State University. She is experienced in providing services to multiple populations including children and adolescents, young adult pregnant women, and Veterans as well. Camari is passionate towards working with all age groups and helping others to address and identify their mental health concerns. She uses an empowerment approach to help clients identify their own strengths, abilities, and intrinsic motivation. Camari utilizes evidence-based therapeutic interventions like cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based perspective, and motivational interviewing to help clients achieve their goals.
